Facebook appeared with a new feature
This time, Facebook has come up with an 'end to end encryption system for Messenger's video and voice calls. So far it has been running on the text version of Messenger. The tech giant will now follow this privacy policy in the case of calls as well. In addition, Facebook has also updated the 'Disappearing Message' feature.
In a recent blog post, Facebook said that since 2016, Facebook has been using 'end-to-end encryption in the field of text messages. But in the last few years, the number of audio and video calls has increased rapidly, so this change has been brought in the case of audio and video calls.
According to Facebook, Instagram is also considering taking such a step. However, for the time being, it will be implemented experimentally in some countries. Facebook has also said that it will start testing the system for group chat, group voice, and video calls.Meanwhile, Facebook has brought a new update in the 'Disappearing Message' feature. This time 'Timer Control' has been added to this feature. That means users will be able to fix the time limit for deleting messages. After that time the message will be automatically deleted.
